Four vehicles have been involved this Wednesday at noon in a multiple accident at the exit of the airport. The event, which has taken place on the LZ-2, at the height of Guacimeta and in the direction of Puerto del Carmen, has left five minor injuries. All of them had suffered mild whiplash and have been assisted by the medical personnel of the SUC. A basic ambulance has then been responsible for transferring them to the Molina Orosa Hospital of Arrecife.

The Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies has received the notice of the accident at 2:45 p.m. and has sent the two ambulances to the area. Two trucks of the firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium have also moved there.

This collision between four cars has caused significant delays on the LZ-2, in both directions. As several drivers have confirmed to La Voz, one hour after the accident the traffic was still congested on that road.
