Agents of the National Police have arrested in the municipality of Arrecife a 45-year-old man with a police record, as he was wanted by a court in Arrecife.
The events unfolded when a National Police patrol carrying out crime prevention work observed a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction to the road, so the driver was identified.
The police officers were able to verify that there was a judicial order for search and arrest by a court in Arrecife, so they proceeded to arrest the individual and transfer him to police headquarters.
After the corresponding police report was prepared, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
The police intervention was carried out by agents from the Arrecife Police Station.
