The firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium have rescued a man who was on the roof of a burning house in Arrecife. The events date back to 9:10 p.m. on Saturday night, on Juan Negrín street in Arrecife.
Alerted by the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies (CECOES), the firefighters went to the place, where the Local Police of Arrecife was already located, who were securing the area. After inspecting the house, they verified that the fire was in a locked room, so they had to break down the door to access and extinguish the flames.
To rescue the young man who was on the roof of the house, they needed a turntable ladder.
Once the fire was extinguished and the room ventilated, they restored the power and gave instructions to the woman to ventilate the house well. Finally, they collected the material and ended the service.
The National Police and personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service also went to the scene.
