A 42-year-old man had to be rescued this Friday morning on Bajo del Risco beach, after suffering a sprained ankle that prevented him from walking.
After receiving the notice, the Security and Emergency Coordination Center activated the firefighters, who carried out the rescue by sea.
Thus, after immobilizing his ankle with a splint, they transferred him in a boat to the Orzola dock, where another fire brigade and the Local Police were waiting.
Once on land, the injured man and his companions went to the hospital on their own.
