The Local Police of Arrecife arrested a man this week after an episode of gender violence. The victim had to be transferred to a health center to be treated for the injuries suffered during the aggression.

The victim was with several injuries and "very nervous" about the situation since, as reported from the police force, she said that the events were not isolated and that they were repeated frequently, in the presence of her daughter of only 18 months. She even stated that the detainee had attacked her with objects from inside the house.
The Local Police located the man, who shortly after went to the address. At that time he was arrested and transferred to police facilities to continue with the proceedings. For its part, the woman was taken to a medical center, where she recovered from her injuries.
