A house in Puerto del Carmen suffered a fire this Thursday morning. The fire affected the kitchen of the property and, luckily, the owner of the house was not injured.
The events occurred at 7.47 am on Folías street in Puerto del Carmen. At that time, the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112 received an alert call reporting that a fire had broken out in a house.
Members of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium went to the scene and found that the owner of the property was not injured. The firefighters managed to quickly extinguish the fire, which had already been controlled by the owner of the house.
Members of Civil Protection, the Local Police of Tías and the Civil Guard also went to this street in Puerto del Carmen. These last two police forces guaranteed security in the area and facilitated access to emergency vehicles.
