A house in Playa Honda suffered a fire on Friday afternoon, which affected several rooms of the house.
The fire occurred around 8:38 p.m. on Alisios Street in Playa Honda. At that time, the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 112 received an alert call reporting that a fire had broken out in a house.
Personnel from the Security and Emergency Consortium of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, as well as personnel from the Civil Guard, the Local Police and the Red Cross, were dispatched to the scene.
Once there, the firefighters verified that the flames had affected the kitchen, the living room and a pantry of the house, while the smoke had affected the rest of the house.
The fire was extinguished at 9:55 p.m. and, according to reports from the Security and Emergency Consortium of the Cabildo, they proceeded to remove two gas cylinders affected "as a precaution", since one of them even "had leaks".
