Last Tuesday, August 23, at 1:34 p.m., the Yaiza Local Police Headquarters received a telephone call stating that a minor was convulsing on Papagayo Beach and needed medical assistance. Immediately, the agents moved to the area and interviewed the person who had alerted them, who identified himself as a sergeant of the Civil Guard of Tías, and indicated the exact place where the affected person was and collaborated at all times.
Once on the scene, the medical team stabilized the minor, a 13-year-old girl from Madrid, who was on vacation on the island, and transferred her to the Doctor Molina Orosa Hospital.
