Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Water Consortium of Lanzarote have announced this afternoon that the drinking water supplies of Haría, El Cuchillo, Mozaga, El Islote, Tiagua, Caleta de Caballo, Tinajo, Mancha Blanca, La Vegueta and Caleta de Famara remain closed, due to the low levels that continue to be recorded in the supply tanks.
At the same time, the company that manages the water on the island states that the breakdown registered in the central line, reported on Monday morning, has already been repaired.
On the other hand, it is specified that the towns of Máguez and Tegoyo may continue to register pressure and flow anomalies in the service due to the necessary maneuvers to regularize the system.
Regarding the water destined for agricultural farms, both regenerated and drinking water, unfortunately today they will not be able to receive the supply, given the levels of the tank reserves.
Regarding agricultural farms, it is announced that this Monday it will not be possible to supply the areas that correspond to the scheduled supply of both regenerated water and drinking water on this day.
Apart from the circumstance described, there are other incidents due to small breakdowns and scheduled maneuvers that could cause some momentary alteration in the supply of specific streets, but which are limited to daily and habitual management.
Canal Gestión Lanzarote and the Water Consortium have announced that they "regret the situation that the supply of Lanzarote and La Graciosa is suffering, showing the firm commitment to be working and putting all possible resources to channel the solutions to the existing structural problems in the short, medium and long term".
