Agents assigned to the Judicial Police Group of the National Police Station of the Southern District, recently proceeded to arrest Andrés R. D., 39 years of age, native of Las Palmas and with a total of 32 previous arrests for multiple crimes against property and other nature, as the alleged perpetrator of numerous robberies with violence and intimidation and robberies with force in things.
A police statement explains that last December officials from that police station arrested the same individual after committing a robbery of computer equipment in an insurance company located on Francisco Gourié street in this capital.
Days later he was arrested again after being caught "in fraganti" with various stolen material in a law office that he had forced on Buenos Aires street. He had managed to seize a certain amount of cash, electronic agendas, recorders and various mobile phones.
For the third time he was arrested after being caught by officials stealing in a chicken grill located on Muro street in the Vegueta neighborhood, where he had managed to get various effects and cash.
Recently, he was arrested again after being caught by the agents when he was leaving a home on Pablo Iglesias street carrying numerous objects that he had managed to steal moments before.
It so happens that he also had in his possession other objects that, after arduous tasks to clarify their origin, it was possible to determine that they came from a robbery with force from another home in the same area and that had already been reported, as well as others from a robbery carried out in a medical pediatric consultation, also reported.
In addition to all this, he was carrying a set of keys that allowed to establish his connection with a robbery with violence suffered by a Dutch citizen, who some time ago reported that she had been assaulted and hit on the head to steal 6,000 euros from the collection of rents, as well as the keys to the property and that were found in the possession of the detainee.
Once the proceedings were instructed, in which his participation in more than seven events of this nature could be determined, he was placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority that ordered his immediate imprisonment.
