A citizen found a 30-kilo bale of hashish on Las Cucharas beach, in the tourist town of Costa Teguise, on Tuesday afternoon. This person was walking along the beach when, in the mid-afternoon, he noticed that there was a suspicious object on the beach.
He then contacted the Civil Guard to report this fact. The agents went to this beach and found that there was a bale of drugs, which had been washed away by the sea.
The Civil Guard has confirmed to La Voz that it is investigating this matter to determine how this bale of hashish could have reached the coast of Lanzarote.
