A 70-year-old man has died after being hit by a car on a road in Lanzarote, as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordinating Center.
The events occurred at 06.52 hours on the LZ-34 road, in the San Bartolomé-Zonzamas area, as it passes through the Montaña Mina crossing, in the municipality of San Bartolomé, to which personnel from the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) moved, who upon arriving at the area could only confirm the death of the man due to the severity of the injuries he presented.
Also at the scene of the incident were agents of the Civil Guard who took charge of the judicial proceedings.
