A 50-year-old woman is rescued after suffering a fall in the Volcán de la Corona

Firefighters have located her and health services have transferred her to Molina Orosa, as she had a moderate trauma to her leg.

A 50-year-old woman was rescued by emergency services this Wednesday afternoon in the Volcán de la Corona, in the municipality of Haría. According to the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES)-112, the woman had a moderate leg injury, so she has been transferred to the Molina Orosa hospital.

At 2:40 p.m., CECOES received an alert reporting that "a person had fallen and could not walk." For this reason, personnel from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, Local Police and Civil Guard have come to the scene.

The Consortium firefighters have located the injured woman and rescued her, transferring her to the place where the SUC basic life support ambulance was located. At first, the health services assisted the injured woman at the scene of the incident, but finally, they took her to the hospital.
