A 3-year-old boy suffered a head injury this Saturday after falling from the window of a first-floor apartment on Don Rodrigo Street in Arrecife. The incident took place at 18:40 hours, when an alert call was received at the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) 112.
Local and National Police officers, as well as healthcare personnel, were dispatched to the scene and were responsible for stabilizing the minor and transferring him to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in a medicalized ambulance.
At the initial time of assistance, according to 112, the child presented a less severe head injury.
After the incident, the Local Police were responsible for facilitating access for emergency resources to the scene of the incident and regulating traffic in the area, while the National Police Corps initiated the corresponding proceedings.
