Arrecife Local Police agents managed to arrest L.F.C.C. on Thursday afternoon, accused of allegedly stabbing a person in the abdomen after a heated argument. The detainee, 20 years old, and a native of Colombia, confessed to the agents that he was the perpetrator of the events and was arrested and placed at the disposal of the court accused of an alleged crime of assault with a knife.

According to the police report, at 5:00 p.m. this Thursday, 112 alerted the Local Police that a person had been stabbed. Once at the scene, on Cruceros Baleares street in Altavista, the agents interviewed a witness and mother of the now detainee, as well as the victim, who stated that "it had been a boy, who had left the place in a hurry", not providing any identifying information or characteristics.

Likewise, when asked about the event, the witness and mother of the detainee, in a state of shock at the time, assured the agents that "she had just arrived and knew nothing about what had happened." However, a few minutes later, L.F.C.C. appeared at the scene, who confessed to the crime and admitted that he had had a "heated argument" with the victim, also stating that his mother had witnessed the events, according to the Local Police.

After the defendant's statement, the now detainee was arrested and placed at the disposal of the court, and a sharp knife with a single-edged blade, with a black wooden handle and an approximate length of 35 centimeters, was seized.

For his part, the victim, who had a bleeding wound caused by a knife, on the left side of the abdomen, was transferred to the General Hospital, due to the severity of the injuries.
