A 17-year-old boy was injured after falling from a height of between 20 and 25 meters in the rofera of Tao, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:00 p.m. this Friday when the Emergency Coordination Center received a call alerting that a person had fallen from a great height.
Local Police officers, a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service, and firefighters went to the scene.
The health personnel assisted the young man on site, and the firefighters collaborated in transferring the injured person on a stretcher to the ambulance. He was later evacuated to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital where he was operated on and is stable.
