A 75-year-old French tourist was injured with a possible fracture of the clavicle and hip after falling in Playa Mujeres, as reported by the Emergency Consortium. The accident occurred around 12:23 p.m. this Monday on that beach in the Papagayo area.
After being alerted by the CECOES, an ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and firefighters went to the area. The emergency teams placed the affected woman on the rescue stretcher to transfer her to the ambulance.
She was later evacuated to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
