The meeting began with a "heated" controversy, with both authors boasting of their creative capacity. However, the poets Jaime Quesada and Manuel Concepción soon settled their dispute, "...we must add a nuance that I will later demonstrate to them, here Jaime is the master and I am a modest apprentice," to fully enter into the art of dialogue, making explicit, and only through the tenth, their thoughts on freedom, coexistence or love.

The poetic narration also roamed their young life of the town, Jaime, in Yaiza, Lanzarote, and Manuel, in Barlovento, La Palma, so animatedly passed the literary meeting held this Saturday at the House of Culture of Yaiza within the framework of the Fiestas de Remedios de Yaiza.

Pique, reply and sympathy, but above all pure creation, distinguished the dialectical talk of the two southern poets, because Manuel, for quite some time, is one more yaicero. His work reflects it.

And in a hand in hand in verse between two good friends had to jump the theme of friendship. Friendship from the homeland with a universal vision, so Jaime, recalled the wisdom of his grandmother to point out that "friendship, well understood, is that invisible needle that finds nothing impossible, never gives up."

Before, Manuel, who could not ignore the tragedy of the volcano of his native La Palma, also with an eye on friendship and consensus, declaimed: "...but the skills of my compatriots of yesterday knew how to put intelligence before war and that is how my land has returned to green."

Before the full room and encouraged by César Rijo, another southern poet who acted as moderator, the protagonists narrated their journey through the Fiesta de Remedios, recalled the anonymous people of the town who built welfare reciting poems in their honor.

Many poetic stanzas that expressed feelings and emotions, that recalled childhood experiences, roads from the countryside to the sea, and vice versa, overflow of street wisdom embodied in tenths from humility and beautiful creation. The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, and the Councilor for Festivities, Daniel Medina, thank Jaime Quesada and Manuel Concepción "their generous cultural offering that enriched the Fiestas de Remedios. The public, among whom were writers and musicians, left delighted and wanting to repeat.
