The 'Tinajo Carnival 2024', under the allegory of 'The 60s', already has dates and a poster. The carnival festivities in Tinajo will be held on March 1, 2, and 3, 2024, and after the contest that began last December to decide the image of the festival, the winner has been Daniel González, author of the poster under the title 'The essence of the 60s'. A jury made up of people related to the world of art and culture has been in charge of choosing the winning work, which takes home a prize of three hundred euros.
The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, congratulates "the winner because he has been able to accurately capture the image related to the 60s that we wanted to transmit. That sixties aroma of happiness and party that will illuminate the 'Carnival
of Tinajo 2024' with its color. Now all that remains is for the carnival festivities to start in Tinajo and everyone is invited to enjoy some spectacular festivities in our municipality."
For the Councilor for Festivities of the Tinajo City Council, Jonatan Pérez Olivero, it is "more than good news that designers from different parts of our country are encouraged to participate in this contest because it raises the level and leaves us with works such as that of Daniel González that represent the essence of the 60s that we want to transmit to this year's carnival. A charming touch with our carnival festivities that will make us immerse ourselves in the wonderful decade of the 60s," concludes the Tinajero councilor.
The Tinajo Carnival 2024 will kick off on Friday, March 1, with the carnival gala and, later, the traditional sheet costume party. On Saturday, March 2, it is the turn of the great Carnival Parade through the streets of the municipality and on Sunday, March 3, the Day Carnival.
