The Timple House-Museum of Teguise inaugurated this year's new program on Thursday with the concert of the Gran Canaria timple player Yone Rodríguez.

Rodríguez presented his fourth album, titled 'Semilla', which includes 14 compositions of different styles and musical cultures, with African, flamenco or jazz rhythms. A fusion of styles with which Yone Rodríguez demonstrated to the public, in each of his interpretations, his maturity as a musician and composer.

For this fourth album, Yone had the collaboration of great musician friends where some of them merged with the timple, instruments such as the marimba, the harmonica or the vibraphone.

For the concert in Teguise, the timple player was accompanied by two great musicians, Leandro Ojeda on bass and Néstor García on guitar, who showed the total complicity that unites them when taking the stage. The concert attendees were able to enjoy some compositions such as 'Modales', 'Venezolaneando', 'Camarón', 'Tribute to Los Beatles' and 'Tual', among others, the latter dedicated to his wife.

Benito Cabrera, commissioner of the Timple House-Museum, was in charge of welcoming the attendees, showing himself very excited to start this project again, with the hope that very soon things will return to normal and the opportunity can continue to be given to the musicians who are eager to take the stage.

The Councilor for Culture, Nori Machín, also present at the event, presented Yone Rodríguez with the poster announcing his concert at the end of it.
