The timple player Abraham Ramos and the guitarist Juan Sebastián Ramírez, both from La Villa de Ingenio in Gran Canaria, offered a concert on Sunday morning where they presented their album entitled "El bailar de los Callaos". The event took place in the patio of the Casa-Museo del Timple in Teguise, at the request of the young timple player, since on his first visit to the space "he was captivated by its architecture, its white walls and its leafy fig tree."

"El bailar de los Callaos" is a recording that consists of six compositions, all of them created by both musicians and with a very personal character, where they have only used string instruments such as the timple, bass ukulele, timple contra and the Spanish and acoustic guitars.

The presentation concert began with 'Magios', to which they added 'Chiquillería', 'Kosha', 'Sobre lienzos', 'Kunana' and 'Bailar de los Callaos', compositions that were interspersed with others that are already recorded in previous works. Abraham and Juan Sebastián paid tribute to three great timple masters, for them great references, such as José Antonio Ramos, Domingo Rodríguez 'El Colorao' and Benito Cabrera, performing some of the compositions that were played in the project "Timples@2000".

There were also more traditional themes such as folías, tajaraste, toque de tambor and, being in Lanzarote, the emblematic zaranda and isa could not be missing. Abraham and Juan Sebastián described, in great detail, each of the themes to be performed so that the audience could delve deeper and understand how and why these compositions were created.

The enthusiastic audience asked them to continue and, standing with their applause, their requests were answered with encores. The Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Nori Machín, was present at the concert and presented the advertising poster to the musicians. In addition, he received the album as a sign of gratitude. After the concert, Abraham and Juan Sebastián went inside the Casa-Museo, where they were waiting to sign the album.
