The collaboration between Tenique Cultural and the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC) has started strongly in Lanzarote. The first course of the OFF ESCAC program on the island, entitled "Fundamentals of Screenwriting", has sold out in just 48 hours after the opening of registration, confirming the enormous interest aroused by quality audiovisual training among the local public.
The course, which is held from July 14 to 18, is taught by Alan González Hernández, a prominent Cuban screenwriter and director, current head of the Screenwriting Department of the prestigious International School of Film and Television of San Antonio de los Baños (EICTV), one of the most influential institutions in the audiovisual field internationally.
This intensive 42-hour training is part of the OFF ESCAC program, promoted by the Catalan school itself and financed by the Ministry of Culture, the ICAA and the European Next Generation funds, with the aim of decentralizing and democratizing access to audiovisual knowledge.
