The Centers carry out the restoration of another 8 works of the International Museum of Contemporary Art

With these works, there are now a total of 25 pieces intervened, including a César Manrique and several by Pancho Lasso.

The Tourist Centers continue with the process of adapting the state of the pieces of the International Museum of Contemporary Art, MIAC - Castillo de San José.

After the intervention carried out during the past summer on the 17 works of the MIAC Permanent Collection, this time it has been acted on 8 pieces, including a César Manrique and several by Pancho Lasso, adding a total of 25 works intervened so far.

Benjamín Perdomo, CEO of the Centers, said that this project "will restore the shine and splendor to the most important public collection of works by contemporary artists in the archipelago." He also indicated that this initiative responds to "the responsibility of maintaining and preserving the artistic and cultural heritage of the entity."

The interventions carried out on the works have consisted of the cleaning and preventive conservation of the works. These works have been carried out by the restorers Agustina Torino, Carolina Pérez, Carmen Castilla and Emma Hernández.

These interventions will continue to be carried out over the next months on other works belonging to the MIAC -Castillo de San José catalog.
