The cycle of conversations Cangrejos Albinos has announced its return to the Auditorio Jameos del Agua with a new season, dedicated to the singer Luz Casal, one of the great voices of contemporary Spanish music, who will converse with the journalist Ángeles Blanco next March 21.

With more than four decades of career, Luz Casal has built a career marked by artistic coherence and the ability to reinvent herself. From her beginnings in eighties rock to her international consolidation, her journey is supported by a recognizable identity and a very personal way of interpreting. Close to twenty albums and distinctions, such as the honorary Latin Grammy or the National Award for Contemporary Music, endorse a career that is part of the recent history of Spanish music.

On this occasion, he/she will not offer a typical concert. In Jameos del Agua, he/she will participate in an open conversation with the public, in which he/she will address his/her relationship with music, the craft, the decisions that have marked his/her career, and the accumulated learnings after decades on stage.

Albino Crabs 2026: consolidated and committed

The second edition of the cycle incorporates a significant novelty: each ticket will have a symbolic price of ten euros and the entire collection will be destined for a social organization that carries out its work in Lanzarote or La Graciosa.

The funds will serve to support initiatives linked to equality of opportunities, social inclusion and the improvement of the quality of life, as well as projects related to the conservation of the environment or education as an awareness-raising tool.

The beneficiary project will not be chosen by the organization. At the end of the cycle, the attending public will be able to vote among the proposals presented through a survey, so that the decision will fall on those who are an active part of each meeting. The initiative thus reinforces its participatory and transparent nature, in line with the Corporate Social Responsibility principles of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers.

Also, it is being considered to enable a zero row for people who wish to collaborate with the initiative even if they cannot attend the encounters.

The counselor, Ángel Vázquez, invites citizens to participate in “this proposal from the Tourist Centers, which allows us to share reflection and dialogue with people who are authentic references in national public life, in an intimate and close environment, far from the daily noise. An initiative”, he concludes, “that links heritage, culture and thought in a unique enclave”.

Tickets to attend Albino Crabs can be purchased starting now at https://cangrejosalbinos.com/.
