The Cueva de los Verdes Auditorium will receive the members of the Albéniz Quartet of the Prosegur Foundation, composed of violinists Jacobo Christensen and Valerie Steenken, violist Jorge Belda and cellist Leonardo Chiodo. They will offer a concert free of charge next Thursday, May 19, at 8:00 p.m.
The Albéniz Quartet and pianist Kirill Zheleznov will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 26 in E flat major op 81 "The Farewell". The second piece in the repertoire will be Franz Schubert's String Quartet in D minor D 810 "Death and the Maiden".
"With the presence of the Albéniz quartet we continue to bet on a wide and varied cultural offer to reach all audiences and tastes," said the CEO of the Tourist Centers, Benjamín Perdomo.
The presenter of the concert will be the Director of External Relations of the Reina Sofía School of Music, and accredited music critic, Aĺvaro Guibert.

About the Albéniz Quartet
Created at the Reina Sofía School of Music in 1995, the Albéniz Quartet of the Prosegur Foundation has been directed by professors Rainer Schmidt, Alastair Tait and Heime Müller, under whose tutelage it is currently.
The Quartet has received from Her Majesty Queen Sofía the Diploma of String Group "most outstanding" of its category in several academic courses.
Since its formation, it has performed in such emblematic places as the Casa de la Moneda, the Carlos de Amberes Foundation, the Prado Museum, the Palace of Congresses and Conventions of Madrid, the Royal Site of La Granja de San Ildefonso and the National Museum of Roman Art of Mérida, among others.
From the Tourist Centers they point out that the Prosegur Foundation is a non-profit entity "that channels the social and cultural action of Prosegur, with the aim of helping to build a more supportive society with fewer inequalities."
They also add that this entity carries out social projects that respond to the real demands of the communities, where the Company is present. In addition, they promote "the training of new generations and promote the social integration of the less favored groups." The fields where these lines of action are reflected are Education, social and labor integration of people with disabilities and the promotion of Corporate Volunteering.
