The Aceró hall of the Lanzarote luthier Paco Dorta in Tahíche hosted the 'Ancient Music' concert last Saturday by Héctor González and Michele Manuguerra, with a full house and where the musicians played two of the instruments made in the Paco Dorta workshop itself, a German theorbo (or swan neck), and a classical guitar. 

Attendees were able to enjoy a complete program with prestigious professionals. Héctor González from Tenerife obtained a higher degree in music, specializing in guitar, also obtaining a degree in the interpretation of plucked string instruments from the Renaissance to the Baroque with Professor Carlos Oramas at the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Canary Islands. He has participated as a soloist and as a member in different chamber ensembles in various festivals. For this concert, in his intervention with German theorbo, he performed a tour of the work of Silvius Leopold Weiss 1686-1750, Sonata in D Minor sw 34, Chacona in  E flat Major, Fantasy in C Minor.

The Italian Michele Manuguerra, a guitarist musician, began very young with his father and later with Paolo Cherici, graduating from the "Giuseppe Verdi" conservatory in Milan. He has qualified in numerous national and international competitions and is the author of the scenic music for the Sacred Representation "La vita Della Croce" by Cheon. He currently teaches private guitar lessons in Lanzarote. For the concert he performed works by Domenico Scarlatti, G. Brescianello, Mauro Giulani, Nicolo Paganini and RonadDyens.

Héctor and Michele offered a very elaborate concert with a select repertoire that the attending public described as very elegant and unique.
