Summer cinema returns to the island of Lanzarote. Under the title of “Traveling Summer Cinema”, during the months of August and September you can enjoy a varied program organized by the Tenique Cultural Association, in collaboration with several municipalities on the island.

The first municipality to host the project will be Tías, where the movie ‘The Truman Show’ is scheduled for this coming Saturday, August 20, at the El Fondeadero Civic Center, in Puerto del Carmen, at 8:30 p.m.

Already in September, on Friday the 9th, the summer cinema arrives in Haría with the movie ‘Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown’, which can be seen at 8:30 p.m. in the Plaza de San Juan.

San Bartolomé will host the screening of ‘Strawberry and Chocolate’ on Friday, September 16 in Playa Honda at 8:30 p.m. Finally, on Saturday, September 17, it is Teguise's turn, where ‘The Godfather’ will be screened in the Plaza de los Leones at 8:30 p.m.

“These sessions want to combine the extraordinary sensation of watching movies outdoors with the experience of watching quality movies. We have selected four titles that are part of the best history of cinema; movies that entertain us and make us learn relevant things about the world and society”, explains the president of the Tenique Cultural Association, Javier Fuentes Feo.
