The Municipal Theater of San Bartolomé hosted last Thursday, April 20 the presentation of the book 'May it not be forgotten', by the writer and resident of the municipality, Reyes Tabares.
Isidro Pérez recognized that "the work that the author does in favor of culture in the municipality of San Bartolomé". “Reyes Tabares is part of the idiosyncrasy of our town since with her stories she has kept alive the memory of the municipality's past”, points out Pérez.
This work takes "a tour of the traditions of a past time and delves into memories through experiences and experiences", adds the mayor. Reyes Tabares, already has another work of her own, 'Memories and Experiences', where "with a popular language, the writer takes a leap into the past of the municipality, reflecting with poems the customs and habits of that time", she informs.
"On this occasion, her poems and reflections have a unique and nostalgic perspective," she anticipates. In addition, the writer is a resident of the town where she is recognized for "giving life to many cultural projects in the municipality" and for "being part of theater, folklore, murgas groups and promoting and transmitting her knowledge through talks and workshops", they include.
