The environmental biologist and writer, Nacho Romero Perera presented his first novel 'Ana Viciosa - La Señora de Tinajo' last Friday night at the Democracia de Arrecife society. A presentation that is part of the events programmed for the patron saint festivities of San Pedro Apóstol.
The presentation took place in the main hall of the centenary society and was attended by a large audience who attentively followed the intervention of Nacho Romero. Romero is a great connoisseur of the history of "La Señora de Tinajo", and in great detail explained some reviews included in the novel, illustrating them with some slides.
The historical novel 'Ana Viciosa - La Señora de Tinajo' is based on a historical figure from the Tinajo region, whom he has been interpreting on his hiking routes for more than twenty years. The writer had the collaboration of two readers in charge of reading some paragraphs of it for the occasion.
After the presentation, a colloquium was held where some of those present addressed Nacho, becoming even more interested in learning about the history of the novel's protagonist, doubts that the writer answered with the mastery that characterizes him.
The act ended with the signing of the novel that many of those present took home to deepen and learn a little more about the history of "Ana Viciosa", a woman of power and with a singular personality who took the reins of her life in an era where men, injustice and inequality dominated.
