The members of the well-known company of musicians and comedians Les Luthiers arrived this Tuesday in Lanzarote, where they will perform for the first time in their 40 years on stage. The five members of the comedy group begin their tour of the archipelago on the island, which will also take them to Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Carlos Puccio, Jorge Maronna, Marcos Mundstock, Carlos Núñez and Horacio Turano will offer three performances at the Teatro Insular, this Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Before taking the stage, the comedians visited Montaña de Fuego. "They distilled simplicity and humanity in a space that left them fascinated," explain from the network of Tourist Centers.

The members of Les Luthiers attended the usual demonstrations carried out by the Centers staff in Montañas del Fuego. "They were as surprised by the steam emanating from the geysers of the Islote de Hilario as by the immensity and majesty of the Lanzarote volcanic landscape," they point out from the Cabildo. Interested in "everything they saw and that happened around them", the company finished its visit by taking the traditional Route of the Volcanoes by bus.

There are still tickets for sale

From the Cabildo de Lanzarote they have also reported that there are still tickets available for the third performance, which will be held on Thursday at the Teatro Insular.

Initially, only two Les Luthiers shows were scheduled in Lanzarote. However, after the long queues that formed in front of the institution when the tickets went on sale and the discomfort that was generated among the admirers who were left without a place to attend the performances, the Cabildo announced that it had scheduled a third show.

According to the Corporation, there are still tickets for that third performance, since despite the fact that they went on sale last Tuesday, they have not yet sold out. They can be purchased at the theater itself from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at a price of 60 euros.
