On Friday night, the long-awaited return of the Nanino Díaz Cutillas Folk Festival was celebrated in Mancha Blanca, Tinajo.
The meeting, organized by the Culture area of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, directed by Alberto Aguiar, took place in its usual location, the Plaza de los Dolores de Mancha Blanca, and gave special prominence to women with Canarian performers such as Mariví Cabo, Yumara Luis, Almudena Hernández and Claudia Álamo.
The president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, valued an act "whose objective this year has been to find new ways of understanding tradition with the female voice as the central axis".
For his part, Alberto Aguiar recalls that the commitment to nature and the conservation of our ecological and historical heritage has been taken into account.
