The Teguise City Council has reported that the activities that were organized to celebrate International Youth Day in La Caleta de Famara and La Graciosa, and which had to be suspended due to the high temperature alert on August 12, will finally be held this Saturday.
In the first of the locations, the chosen site is the teleclub square. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. there will be a workshop to customize fabric backpacks. In the afternoon, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. there will be a gymkhana and a color party. In the case of the eighth island, the activities will start at 11:30 a.m. in the sports court where a color and foam party will be organized.
The Councilor for Festivities, Javier Díaz, has highlighted the commitment of the government team "to specifically promote activities aimed at our young people, because they are the ones who have the most difficulties in socializing, that is why we want to propose outdoor, healthy and group actions."
