The II Lanzarote Literature Festival (FDLL24) sponsored by the Tourist Centers will come to an end with the expected talk by Juan Manuel de Prada, which will take place next Wednesday, November 20, at 7:30 p.m., at the Sociedad Democracia of Arrecife, with free admission until full capacity.
The author will be interviewed by the director of the Festival, Carlos Battaglini, in a talk that will revolve around the creative process and the guidelines that have made him one of the most respected and best valued pens by the public and critics.
Juan Manuel de Prada has captivated thousands of readers with works such as La tempestad, with which he won the Planeta Prize in 1997. Other of his most notable works are El séptimo velo, awarded with the Biblioteca Breve Prize in 2007, and Las máscaras del héroe. His latest book, Mil ojos esconde la noche, is a colossal effort set in Paris during World War II.
De Prada has an extensive and successful work that also includes short stories, journalism, cinema, articles and other types of literary genres that have made him one of the most prolific authors of contemporary literary creation in Spanish, in addition to receiving numerous awards and distinctions.
