After the summer vacation break, the Casa-Museo del Timple resumed its cultural program this Thursday with a concert by the timple player José Vicente Pérez, which was broadcast through online digital platforms due to the new health restrictions.
Accompanied by the guitarist Adrián Niz, José Vicente Pérez offered a concert with a very varied repertoire, in which traditional compositions of Canarian origin were interspersed with some pop songs such as 'Hotel California', 'Redemtpion song', 'Angels' or 'Havana', among others.
José Vicente Pérez and Adrián Niz gave their best as every time they have had the opportunity to go on stage, although this time the situation was totally different as they did not have the public present and feel the warmth of their applause.
The Councilor for Culture of the Teguise City Council, Nori Machín, and the curator of the Casa-Museo, Benito Cabrera, were present at the event and were very excited and faithful to the idea of not having to suspend any of the scheduled concerts, to ensure that musical culture continues to live and be able to lend a hand within their possibilities to so many groups eager to be able to continue with their projects.
