El Almacén and its surroundings are now ready to become, this March 1st, the place where the essence of the Lanzarote Carnival comes to life. Everything is prepared to enjoy a vibrant day, where music, joy and tradition will come together in one of the most emblematic events of the year on the island.
The El Almacén Carnival, with decades of history, is a cultural reference that continues to maintain its festive essence and is open to everyone. This year, the event has already come to life with a unique staging under the theme of Disney Carnival in Baroque style, inspired by the majesty of the great halls and fairytale castles such as Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella. El Almacén has been transformed into a world of fantasy, with theatrical decorations and a magical atmosphere that transports attendees to a dreamlike setting.
The counselor of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote, Ángel Vázquez, has supervised the preparations for this great party, reaffirming the commitment of the Centers to the preservation and strengthening of this historical celebration. “The El Almacén Carnival is one of the most authentic expressions of our cultural identity, a meeting place that has never lost its essence. From the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers we continue to bet on keeping this tradition alive with all its splendor,” Vázquez pointed out.

This year's musical program promises to make everyone dance from noon to night, with a selection of artists who will bring the best rhythm to the El Almacén Carnival:
13:00 - 15:00 h | DJ Ariel Noure – Opening with enveloping rhythms and contagious energy.
15:00 - 16:30 h | Los Jarvac – Nostalgia in its purest form, with classics and vibrant themes.
16:30 - 17:00 h | Batucada Merekumbé – Explosion of percussion and joy.
17:00 - 18:30 h | Orquesta Rikabanda – Rhythm and party with merengue and cumbia.
18:30 - 19:00 h | Batucada Merekumbé – A second burst of rhythm to keep the energy up.
19:00 - 20:30 h | Graduado Escolar – Fresh and fun sound to liven up the afternoon.

The Plaza del Almacén will have different points of sale where you can taste a selection of tapas and cocktails specially designed for the occasion, in an atmosphere that invites celebration and shared enjoyment.
