Akacenter, professional training center with the highest employability in the Canary Islands, is launching a new initiative to improve the linguistic skills of unemployed men and women in Lanzarote. This initiative offers free and official intensive courses in English and French specially designed to increase the job opportunities of the participants.

The courses available include French A1 and English B1, both with official certificates. Thanks to the intensive methodology, the French A1 course lasts a month and a half, while the English B1 course lasts two months. Both courses are taught during July and August in the morning, which facilitates the attendance of those interested.

The main objective of these programs is to provide the unemployed with additional tools to improve their employment prospects in an increasingly competitive and globalized market. Language training is one of the most valued skills by companies, and these courses represent an invaluable opportunity for those looking to improve their resume.

The courses are fully subsidized by the SCE and the SEPE, ensuring that participants do not have to assume any cost by including all the materials necessary to follow the training. This measure seeks to eliminate economic barriers and allow access to training to all unemployed people who wish to improve their language skills.

With this initiative, the SCE and the SEPE reaffirm their commitment to training and employment, offering the unemployed in the Canary Islands a key tool to improve their job opportunities and their integration into the labor market.
People who wish to take advantage of this opportunity can register through the Akacenter website (registration for English B1 and registration for French A1), visiting any of the centers that the entity has on the island, located in Arrecife and Tías or calling 928 52 46 13.
