CIFP Microsistemas dresses up to celebrate its graduation

One hundred and fifteen VET students graduated, from Intermediate and Higher Grade

The CIFP Microsistemas celebrated the graduation ceremony of its VET students, from Intermediate and Higher Grade. This event took place at the Real Club Náutico de Arrecife, which was completely filled with family and friends. A very emotional and festive event where one hundred and fifteen students graduated.

The graduation ceremony was attended by the distinguished presence of the Minister of Education and Employment of the Hon. Cabildo Insular de Lanzarote, Dña. Ascensión Toledo Hernández and D. Echedey Eugenio Felipe, First Deputy Mayor of the Ilmo. City Council of Arrecife, who congratulated the new graduates, recognizing how important it is for the society of Lanzarote to have one hundred and fifteen new graduates in Intermediate and Higher Grade of Technician in Auxiliary Nursing Care, Higher Technician in Dental Hygiene, Higher Technician in Dietetics and Higher Technician in Administration and Finance.

All of this responds to the needs of the business sector, which is increasingly demanding professional technicians. In addition, they highlighted the role of CIFP Microsistemas as a benchmark for training and job placement in society. There were also words of congratulations for the teaching staff, the Center's staff and its Director, Dña. Beatriz Salazar Hernández, for her long and brilliant career in favor of a training that meets the highest quality standards.

 

VET is the best alternative and the fastest and safest way to access the labor market 

The emotional event was presided over by the Director of the Center, Dña. Beatriz Salazar Hernández, who focused her speech highlighting “how the effort and sacrifice have paid off, pointing out that this new promotion of graduates should feel proud, as they have excellent academic preparation. She congratulated the students for having chosen, to build their future, Vocational Training, which is undoubtedly the fastest and safest way to access the labor market. Next, she highlighted the extraordinary work of the teaching team that has been a key piece for this success.”

Delivery of sashes

Subsequently, members of the teaching staff took the floor to congratulate the students for their great effort and dedication in obtaining their Official VET Qualification, highlighting the dedication, good humor and teamwork that accompanied them at all times in their training stage.

Next, as representatives of the students, Dña. Emily Antelo Molano, D. Ismael Padrón Herrera, Dña. Yurena Laura Molina Mateo, Dña. Yessica María Cabrera Fernández, Dña. Shaila Fernández Barrios, and Dña. Ana Isabel Arancibia Galindo recounted their experiences, anecdotes and experiences interspersed with affectionate words towards the teaching staff and gratitude to the educational center, for the opportunity to study and provide them with excellent quality professional training.

The interventions and speeches were interspersed with the projection of images of the 43-year professional career of the center, highlighting the achievements and its evolution thanks to the quality, dedication, innovation, adaptation to the needs of society over time.

In addition to the close and emotional speeches, the students who were graduating were given their sash and the teaching team a plaque of recognition for their dedication and excellent results, as well as the representatives of the Ilmo. City Council of Arrecife and Excmo. Cabildo de Lanzarote for their participation.

Once the Graduation Ceremony was over, Salazar sent a loving message to all the graduates of these promotions: “They will always be part of the great family as members of CIFP Microsistemas”. She valued the academic quality of the knowledge acquired during the training stage of a generation that will contribute to generating employment, wealth and well-being. She also took the opportunity to wish all the graduates a successful personal and professional future and to thank the families for the support and effort shown during these years.

The Director of CIFP Microsistemas, Dña. Beatriz Salazar, thanked the many companies that collaborate in the training through the FCT – Training in Work Centers - pointing out, as year after year, they welcome students, providing knowledge, skills, abilities and bringing them closer to the reality of the world of work.

As representatives of these companies, the members of Adislan, Dña. Pilar Terán and Dña. Guadalupe Villalba González, attended, to whom she presented a plaque of gratitude for their valuable collaboration.

Before the closing of the event, Salazar asked the students to stand up and offer a strong applause to all their family and friends present, in recognition of the support received during their learning process. It was a very emotional moment that culminated in a great ovation.

The event was enlivened by Toñín Corujo y Cía. At the end, the students, family, teachers, friends and all those attending were invited to a cocktail, where they enjoyed a time of coexistence and joy sharing memories and dreams for the future.

 

Almost 100% of student placement

CIFP Microsistemas has its own Official Placement Agency, whose main objective is the promotion, guidance and labor insertion, actively taking care of the search or improvement of employment for its students.

 

Official grants and aid

As these are official qualifications, students can apply for grants and aid from the Ministry of Education or a bonus of up to 100% of the cost of training.
