The Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism have published on their website the bases of the III edition of the call for cultural projects, an initiative endowed with 287,834 euros, which aims to incorporate creative, original and innovative projects into the cultural program of the Entity for the year 2025.
The councilor of the Entity los Centros, Ángel Vázquez, encourages the population to "join an initiative that puts our spaces and resources at the service of the cultural fabric and transforms the spaces transformed by César Manrique into the best showcase to promote their creativity and talent."
Theater, dance, music, audiovisual, publications, artistic creation and humor shows
The bases of the call establish five areas of application, which are Theater and dance (dance and theatrical productions), Music (concerts, musicals and record production), Audiovisual and Publications (catalogs, reissues and audiovisual production), Creation artistic (exhibitions and artistic residencies) and humor shows (monologues).
The proposals must be adapted both to the cultural values promoted by the Tourist Centers and to the spatial and special characteristics of these spaces, classified as Assets of Cultural Interest (BIC).
The proposals for this call must be submitted electronically, with their corresponding annexes and documents duly completed in the electronic headquarters of the Centers for Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, before January 31, 2025.
The jury will study these proposals, apply the selection criteria included in the bases and publish the result on March 3, and publish the final act on March 24, 2025.
The approved projects will have an execution framework from April to December 2025.
