The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Lanzarote Tourism team, traveled this week to Ireland to collect the award for 'Best Winter Destination', awarded by the Irish Travel Agents Association.
The president and Tourism Councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, María Dolores Corujo, expressed her gratitude to the Association for the recognition and pointed to the Irish market as "one of the most loyal on the island."
“It is an honor for us to be chosen as the best winter destination and we continue working so that, apart from our unique climate, visitors fall in love with the quality of the services or the complementary tourist offer,” Dolores Corujo highlighted.
The CEO of the Lanzarote Foreign Promotion Society, Héctor Fernández, detailed that the island was chosen as the best winter destination among national and international candidates such as Gran Canaria, Tenerife, New York and Dubai and emphasized that “this is not the first time we have received this distinction, demonstrating the strength and consolidation of our destination.”
