The European country that proportionally travels the most to Lanzarote, Ireland, is in luck. This winter it adds eight direct flights with Lanzarote each week to a total of 46.
Thus, the air capacity for Ireland grows by 14.3%, going from 7,100 seats per week last year to 8,120 this winter season.
The flag carrier Air Lingus, which last year had 12 weekly flights with Lanzarote, three from Cork and nine from Dublin, will offer from the end of October, an additional connection with Cork and five more for the Irish capital. Thus, Air Lingus adds six additional connections this winter season to a total of 18.
For its part, Ryanair adds one more weekly flight to Dublin to 17 weekly direct flights and adds a fifth flight a week with the Irish city of Shannon.
Cork maintains the five direct Ryanair flights and the town in northwest Ireland, Knock, its direct flight on Wednesdays. Thus, the low-cost airline adds 28 flights a week between Lanzarote and Ireland.
