The Canary archipelago is the preferred Spanish region to spend the November 1st long weekend, accumulating 21.5% of the total reservations in Spain. The average price per stay in the Canary Islands this long weekend will be 121.1 euros, 5.1% higher than in 2021, according to reservation data from October 29 to November 4 from the TravelgateX search platform.
The second community with the most Travelgate reservations is Catalonia, with 19.1% and an average price per stay of 115.8 euros, which is up 19.4% compared to the long weekend in 2021; and the third is Andalusia, with 16.6% of reservations and 105.5 euros per stay, 10.7% higher than in 2021, the platform reported in a statement.
Madrid, with 13.6% of reservations, will register an average price per stay of 139 euros, 29.4% higher than in the same period in 2021; and Valencia, with 9.4% of reservations, the price per stay is 101.8 euros, 17.3% higher.
By nationalities that will travel in Spain during the long weekend, Spaniards have reserved an average of 2.6 nights; the English 5.6 nights, the Germans 5.6 nights, the Italians will spend 3.9 nights and the Americans 2.9 nights.
The countries with the most tourist reservations for October 29 to November 4 are the United States, Spain, Italy, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates.
The most travelers, worldwide, are couples, with 5% of those who plan to travel this long weekend; single people with 20% and groups with 13%.
