Between January and July of this year, the port of Arrecife has received 282,085 cruise passengers.
That's almost double the number that had arrived during the same months last year, when there were 138,262 travelers.
During the winter months of 2022, the flow of cruises was slow to return to normal after mobility limitations due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
However, compared to 2019, the number of cruise passengers has decreased by 30,000 passengers. That year, a total of 282,085 people had arrived in Arrecife between January and July.
We will have to wait for the last months of the year, when traditionally more cruises arrive in Lanzarote, to see if the figures for 2023 manage to exceed the pre-pandemic data.
