In April, the average prices of homes for sale in Lanzarote fell in all municipalities except in Haría and Tinajo, where they grew slightly, according to data published by the Lanzarote Data Center, with figures from idealista.com.

However, the trend that is emerging is that prices are ceasing to grow, since both the decreases and increases, depending on the municipality, are a matter of a few euros

The rise in interest rates, which has increased the cost of mortgages, seems to be reflected in the evolution of real estate market prices in Lanzarote.

The most significant price change was recorded in Haría, where the square meter went from costing 1,881 euros in March to 1,923 in April

The other municipality that experienced an increase was Tinajo, where it was 2 euros, up to 1,782 euros per square meter.

The rest of the municipalities recorded decreases, but very contained, which were between 1 and 30 euros, which means more than falls, a stagnation of prices.

Evolution in a year: An apartment in San Bartolomé costs 4.7% less, in Yaiza 23.8% more

However, with the exception of San Bartolomé where they have fallen by 4.7%, prices are still considerably higher than a year ago.

Particularly in Yaiza, where the square meter currently costs on average 3,103 euros, 23.8% more than a year ago.

After Yaiza, the largest annual increases were recorded in Tinajo and Haría, where prices have risen by 12.2% and 10.2% respectively.

In Tías, where the meter costs 2,805 euros on average, and in Teguise, where it is sold at 2,259 euros, the increases in a year have been 8.1% and 7.1% respectively.

For its part, in Arrecife, the square meter is now at 1,436 euros, which means it is 7% more expensive than 12 months ago.
