Housing prices reach their peak in Lanzarote: 10% more expensive than in January

By municipalities, Tías has the most expensive price per square meter on the entire island, and Tinajo has the cheapest.

The price of housing reached its peak this past month of October in Lanzarote. Furthermore, already in November, the cost to access a house was 10% higher than in January 2024. This is according to the data from the Data Center of Lanzarote, based on figures from the real estate portal Idealista.

On average, buying a home on the island cost 2,579 euros per square meter in November, while the previous month it was 2,595 euros per square meter, and at the beginning of the year, in January, it was at 2,328 euros.

By municipalities, Tías had the most expensive price per square meter on the entire island of Lanzarote in the penultimate month of the year. Accessing a house in the town cost 3,535 euros per m2. Meanwhile, Yaiza had the second most expensive price on the island, with 3,446 euros.

Teguise, with data from October and without data from November, was in third position, with 2,560 euros per square meter. Thus, San Bartolomé had the fourth most expensive price in Lanzarote, with 2,058 euros per square meter; followed by Arrecife, with 1,906.

The municipality of Tinajo is the only one on the island where a decrease in the price of housing for sale was recorded, with 1,834 euros per square meter.
