In the first three months of 2024, the average price of square meter to acquire a home in Lanzarote has risen 106 euros to mark the 2,398 euros, according to the Lanzarote Data Center based on the Idealista real estate index.
The rise in the average price on the island is marked by increases in the municipalities of Arrecife, Tías and Yaiza, which have offset the decreases in Haría, San Bartolomé and Teguise.
In the capital, the square meter costs today 1,718 euros, 123 euros more than it cost at the end of 2023, while in Tías, the increase is 255 euros to mark the 3,144 euros.
Also in Yaiza prices have risen, although the increase is not so large as to start from a very high base. So much so that it doubles the prices in Arrecife. In the first three months of the year, the square meter in Yaiza has risen 167 euros to reach 3,478 euros.
The price in the municipality of Tinajo marked at the end of March 1,963 euros. The Idealista real estate index does not publish data from Tinajo since May of last year when it marked 1,846 euros. Therefore, the price has risen, but for a much longer period.
Slight decreases in prices in Haría, San Bartolomé and Teguise
On the other hand, so far this year prices have fallen in Haría, San Bartolomé and Teguise. In the north, the square meter is currently at 2,091 euros, which is 18 euros less than it cost at the end of 2023.
In San Bartolomé it marks 2,027 euros, which is 11 euros less than it cost at the end of last year.
The square meter in Teguise is today 27 euros cheaper than it marked at the end of 2023. It currently costs 2,276 euros.
