Liquid gastronomy was the protagonist of Galicia Fórum Gastronómico, the largest professional event of its kind in northern Spain and which was held on April 7, 8 and 9.

Among the drinks presented there was an important delegation from the island framed in Saborea Lanzarote. Among other drinks, there were the gofio cream from Puro Legado, the Sürest gins from Mermeladas Bernardo, as well as those from Pitagin and Ave del Paraíso, the liqueurs from Einar or the vermouth Primo.

In an interview on the radio program Más de Uno Gourmet, the owners of Puro Legado, David Hidalgo, and Mermeladas Bernardo, Philipp Zinhard, explained that they also took the opportunity to bring other products from Lanzarote such as Tinajo tomatoes, La Corona chocolates or Lágrima de Malvasía vinegar.

"In Lanzarote there is a great gastronomic level, people were amazed by the product we have," explained Hidalgo. "We went with the bartenders association of the island and we made a difference because of the good vibes we have between the different producers, we put aside our egos and focused on making Lanzarote shine."

The Galicia Fórum Gastronómico is conceived as a platform for launching and promoting the talent of the best Galician chefs, as well as being a great forum for training and recycling them through the presence of international figures in the kitchen.

Among its objectives is also to contribute to the development of the gastronomic tourism sector, considered a strategic axis for the promotion of the territory.
