The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa has held a presentation event for the program “Canarias Expande”, an initiative aimed at promoting the entry into foreign markets for local companies.
The event held last Thursday featured the participation of the vice president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Carmen Martinón, and the general director of Economic Promotion and Diversification of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Alexis Oliva.
The day began with the conference "Leadership in business management", led by Rudy Bormans, in which the necessary management skills to face growth and competitiveness processes in global environments have been analyzed.
After the presentation, the technical presentation of the program Canarias Expande was carried out, detailing the support mechanisms for local SMEs, followed by an exhibition of the services offered by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) through the Chamber's delegation in Lanzarote and La Graciosa.
Parallel to the presentation, the general director, Manuel Alexis Oliva Hernández, has held an institutional meeting with the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, José Valle, with the aim of coordinating actions regarding economic promotion for both islands.
Likewise, the morning agenda has included a working meeting with a representation of local companies. During this informative session, the General Director has presented the details of the grant for Regional Incentives, a line of aid aimed at large-scale investment projects that seek to boost the productive fabric and the generation of stable employment in the territory.
Canary Islands expands is a program financed by the General Directorate of Economic Promotion and Diversification of the Ministry of Economy, Industry, Commerce and Self-Employed of the Government of the Canary Islands.
