The Ministry of Economy, Knowledge and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canarian Employment Service (SCE), has announced the call for subsidies worth 12 million during the year 2022 for training plans, with priority for employed workers.
Published this week in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC), the resolution signed by Minister Elena Máñez, as president of the SCE, approves the annual call for public aid through the competitive concurrence system for the execution of plans by centers and entities of professional training with accreditation and registration in the various specialties by the autonomous body or the State Public Employment Service (SEPE).
Financed with funds from the Ministries of Education and Labor, the budget credit contemplates five million euros for the financing of actions from the catalog of SEPE specialties leading to professional certificates and seven million for activities from the SEPE list but without qualification.
Training centers and entities interested in participating in the public offer can submit the corresponding applications with the required documentation through the electronic headquarters of the SCE.
