The Cabildo and the Arrecife City Council collaborate in hiring personnel for intercity transport

The Cabildo of Lanzarote and the Arrecife City Council sign a collaboration agreement to regulate the hiring process for intercity transport. The objective of the signing is to promote employment in the island's transport sector.

The acting Employment Councilor of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Jorge Peñas, highlights that "this collaboration agreement is born with the aim of encouraging unemployed people on the island to find a job opportunity in the transport sector".

This new hiring agreement for 15 unemployed people includes the intercity transport companies Arrecife Bus S.L., Bus Leader S.L., and Transportes Díaz Hernández S.L, who commit to hiring at least one third of the total planned.

The profile of the people benefiting from this project are unemployed people residing in Lanzarote with an age between 19 and 55 years old. In addition, they must be in possession of a type B driving license with at least one year of experience and a total of 8 points. All those who want to take advantage of this opportunity cannot have studies in Vocational Training or a University Degree.
