Gasoline 95 fell again in September and its average price in Lanzarote was 1.48 euros per liter, although it is still 27.3% more expensive than in the same month of 2021.
September thus becomes the third consecutive month in which the price of fuel in Lanzarote has fallen, after reaching its historical peak in June of this year, when gasoline 95 was paid on average at 1.64 euros per liter.
Gasoline 98, meanwhile, is currently sold on the island at an average of 1.58 euros per liter, although it is still 26% more expensive than a year ago. The maximum price in June was 1.75 euros per liter.
Meanwhile, a liter of diesel now costs 1.51 euros, but is still 39% more expensive than a year ago. The maximum price reached in June was 1.63 euros per liter, according to data from the General Directorate of Industry and Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The cheapest diesel and gasoline 95 are in the PCAN of Tías
The PCAN gas station in Tías offers the cheapest fuel on the island this month for both gasoline 95 and diesel, both at 1.401 euros per liter. It is also the second cheapest establishment for gasoline 98, with a price of 1.506 euros per liter.
The best price for gasoline 98 is found in the PCAN of Arrieta, where it is sold at 1.499 euros per liter. This same establishment in Arrieta is also the second cheapest to purchase gasoline 95, at a price of 1.429 euros per liter, and the same happens with diesel, since it is sold at 1.459 euros per liter.
The third best price on the island for gasoline 95 is found at the Marina Rubicón gas station, where it can be purchased for 1.429 euros per liter. Combustibles Canarios on the road that connects Arrecife with Yaiza occupies the third position for gasoline 98, with a price of 1.509 euros per liter. For its part, the third best price on the island to refuel diesel is found at the Shell II gas station in Arrecife, where it is sold at 1.487 euros.
The Texaco in Haría is still the most expensive on the island
Both to purchase gasoline 95, at 1.539 euros per liter, and to refuel gasoline 98, at 1.655 euros per liter, the Texaco in Haría repeats this month as the most expensive establishment in Lanzarote.
The most expensive diesel in Lanzarote, at 1.599 euros per liter, is sold at the Repsol gas station that connects Arrecife with Playa Blanca.
This same establishment is also, together with the E.S.Yaiza gas station, located at kilometer 2 of the road between Yaiza and Montañas del Fuego, the second most expensive to refuel gasoline 95, in both it costs 1.499 euros per liter.
To refuel gasoline 98, the second most expensive gas station is CEPSA on Varadero Avenue in Puerto del Carmen, where it is sold at 1.628 euros per liter. The third is E.S. Yaiza, which sells it at 1.589 euros.
The second most expensive diesel on the island is also sold by E.S. Yaiza where the liter is at 1.559 euros. The third highest price is offered by the Texaco of Haría, there it is sold at 1.549 euros.
